have you ever heard of a writer or an author profound or not so to begin a story with the word and? the dictionary defines and to be ‘a conjunction used to indicate an additional thing, situation or fact.’ therefore the simple combination of letters symbolizes more than thought. it isn’t just a decoration for your writing but it is in fact the expression of the fact that there has been something before or previously. when an author starts a story it is fairly impossible for there to have been nothing before seeing as it is difficult to express nothing into words. hence when you begin with and you are suggesting a series of preceding events and consequently inviting the reader to expand their mind and imaginations to a world beyond what is printed on the page in front of them. And so it begins.
